SKYCITY Entertainment Group
SKYCITY Entertainment Group has twice been recognised by the YWCA Equal Pay Awards for their achievements and commitment toward equal pay. Their robust equal pay strategy, fully ratified it’s board, includes: dashboard data and analysis; integrating PIR analysis; a thorough pay equity review process as part of the annual salary review and conscious and unconscious bias training, that has all contributed to a significant correction of female salaries since 2013. SKYCITY Entertainment Group has taken full ownership of equal pay within their organisation, despite not being compelled to do so under compliance, working alongside external groups and influencers, like Global Women, to better understand the issue. As an YWCA Equal Pay Award entrant in 2014 and 2015, SKYCITY Entertainment Group shared its learnings and positioned itself as a thought leader for other organisations willing to tackle equal pay and get on the journey. SKYCITY Entertainment Group has been an Awards sponsor since 2016.

AUT
Over the last 16 years AUT has become the second largest and fastest growing university in New Zealand, and is now ranked amongst the top 3% of universities world-wide, and in the top 60 international universities aged under 50 years. AUT is a significant partner for the Equal Pay Awards with 2500 staff employed at 3 campuses across Auckland. Their staff footprint in Auckland and their contribution to the national workforce gives them an influential platform to advocate for equal pay. 89% of AUT students complete work placement or internships and 86% of graduates are employed full time within 9 months of graduation. AUT ’s commitment to sponsor the 2017 YWCA Equal Pay Awards follows the support by AUT’s Business School of the 2016 awards ceremony which AUT hosted at it’s City campus and where Dr. Candice Harris (Professor of Management) gave the keynote address. AUT is proud to support the part that the YWCA Equal Pay Awards play in addressing equal pay and gender diversity.
