Future Leaders Celebration Ceremony
12th December 2011
This year's Future Leaders Celebration Ceremony on Wednesday 7th
December was attended by 270 Future Leaders, mentors, school reps,
friends and family members. It was a night to remember
- this event is one of the biggest highlights of the year and
it was fantastic to be able to honour and acknowledge our
graduating Future Leaders and mentors.
It was said by a wise man, "the end of a thing is better than
the beginning". We all know how hard it is to start something but
one's character is formed, resilience is tested and perseverance is
proved when one crosses the line to finish. The end for our 31
Future leaders, although sad, was invigorating, inspiring and
exciting. Our families, our communities, our nation have amongst
them women who care, lead, challenge and succeed. Our mentors
were/are an integral part of what we saw cross the podium last
Wednesday night and our heartfelt thanks go out to them.
