FAQs
Isn’t the hostel only for young
women?
No. We have two floors which are for women only but we also have four mixed floors.
How long can I stay?
We offer both short, medium and long term accommodation so you can
stay from one night to 3 years!
What do I need to bring?
The beds are fully made up with warm duvets. Extra blankets are
available upon request. Sheets are changed weekly. You will
need to bring your own towels.
Do I have to be a student?
No, the hostel is for everyone. However most of our residents are
studying at either Unitech, University or language schools so it
gets very quiet here at exam time. This is not a party hostel!
Are alcohol and smoking allowed?
No, our hostel is an alcohol free zone. Smoking is only permitted
outside the hostel in the designated smoking area. The entire building
is fitted with smoke detectors.
How do I pay my rent?
Rent is paid every Tuesday unless you are staying less than a week.
You can pay your rent by cash, eftpos, credit card (Visa, Mastercard
or Amex) or by automatic payment.
How can I extend my booking?
We recommend that you book the maximum amount of time that you may
want to stay. It is easy to shorten your stay by giving two weeks
notice but almost impossible to extend your stay as we are so heavily
booked. We also have a waiting list.
Is the hostel a safe place?
Yes, our front door is always locked. We issue you with a key to
get in. The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. We also have high-tech

room clean.
