The Auckland YWCA has a proud tradition of supporting the young women of New Zealand. For a brief and entertaining history of the Y click here and view some wonderful photos from the past.

Our Community Programmes Department has a range of activities for women. Find out what is on offer at the moment in the Future Leaders Programme for young women, and read about the Encore Programme for women who have had breast cancer.

Our hostel is located conveniently in the heart of the city - close to the universities and language schools. It provides secure, quality accommodation for visitors - male and female.

The YWCA is a not-for-profit organisation. We receive minimal government funding and we rely on public generosity to run our community programmes.
